Store Communicator
Store Communicator is Vodat International’s unique retail management software system that transforms the way retailers manage and inter-react with store operations.
Store Communicator allows retail management to send and receive messages, set and track tasks for stores and departments, design forms for use in stores and send POS material on demand.
Each retail store can track their own diary tasks and access a library of approved materials via a managed intranet interface. In addition staff can communicate in a controlled secure environment with each other, their management and head office departments.
Store Communicator is a unique retail management software system developed specifically for multi-location retailers in the UK. It enables retail managers to have complete control over their store operations.

How Does It Work?
Store Communicator has five components:
Messaging
Retail managers can send and receive messages, set and track tasks for stores and departments, design forms for in-store use and send point of sale materials on demand. Retail stores can track their own diarised tasks and access a library of approved materials.
Bulletins and Task Management
Retail management and departments, as authorised, can send bulletins to selected stores /regions and/or departments, and set up tasks on diaries which can then be tracked.
Intranet Deployment
Store Communicator offers an easy mechanism for operating or interfacing to a company intranet. A separate content management facility enables departments such as marketing to control what stores can see and/ or print in store - e.g. POS materials.
Workflow
Store Communicator provides the facility to design and create electronic forms, which can replace manual forms used to send information from stores to head office, and vice versa. As part of the standard implementation, Vodat will provide a number of pre-defined forms to cover basic in-store processes. These can obviously be tailored to suit client requirements.
Dashboard Views
This works on the principle of providing a customisable “dashboard” for any function to view summary information regarding the status of messages and tasks, with a drill down facility to view exceptions in more detail.
Store Communicator is a retail management software system has been designed for its ease of use. it includes auto help features and prompts in the form of drop down menus and pre defined lists.
Comprehensive functionality enables staff to communicate simply and effectively in the every day retail business process.
How is it Implemented?
Store Communicator runs in thin client mode at store level with access to a central / hosted server, typically via an ADSL network.
