The Vodat international Managed Network is a secure business strength Private Network that is specifically tailored to meet  the needs of Retailers.  The network is based on Vodat  International’s own MPLS core with interconnects to all of the major Telcos . This allows us  to select and deliver  the latest  in broadband connection in the form of  ADSL2  from any of the major carriers on a mix and match basis so that you get the best connectivity in terms of reliability and bandwidth suited to your store estate.

Vodat International’s retail experience means that those elements most important to the retail market are covered ; namely cost, reliability, resilience and security.

Our core network is a secure private MPLS IP-VPN ,  your stores are connected to the core via ADSL2 with speeds of up to 24mb dependent on the availability at local exchanges. To reduce cost, we use exchanges with Local Loop Unbundling (LLU) wherever it is available whilst maintaining the inherent quality of the connections. We only deal with carriers  that can offer assured services and QOS  in their network particularly where we are carrying Voip traffic.

We use Ethernet and /or leased lines to connect your head office, distribution centres etc..

Single points of failure are eliminated in the core network by triangulating our data centres over diverse connections. Local resilience is handled using a number of options of your choice, ranging from 3G, GPRS, PSTN,ISDN or secondary DSL connections. Any failover and recovery is fully automatic but in any case our proactive managed service will detect and wherever possible fix issues remotely often before your staff are aware of a problem.

Vodat International carries both PCI:DSS and ISO 27001 certifications an mark of how seriously we take the security of your data across our network and in our data centres.  

The supply of the resources, management of the bandwidth usage, availability and general performance are all provided by Vodat International. Our in-store routers are self-configuring  on install and provide self-generated diagnostics and performance data. The service includes all line rentals, equipment, hardware and software support plus Vodat International’s renowned proactive management service.
